Scientific rationale:
This conference unites cosmology, galaxy evolution, and Fast Radio Burst (FRB) research to harness next-generation surveys for transformative insights. FRBs will map the cosmic diffuse gas (IGM/CGM/ISM), constrain galaxy formation and test cosmology. FRB rotation measures (RMs) trace magnetic fields across cosmic environments from near the FRB sources to through galaxies to the large-scale structure. By gathering FRB observers, theorists and galaxy experts and cosmologists in the same room, we hope to develop strategies to cross-correlate upcoming large FRB catalogs with large multi-wavelength galaxy, ISM, CGM and IGM data, unlocking synergies between DM/RM studies and galaxy evolution. This synergy will establish FRBs as powerful tools to decode the Universe’s baryon cycle, magnetic fields, and fundamental physics in the big-data era.
